Awards

Boa Style has received numerous prestigious international awards for the groundbreaking product designs it commissioned from Paul Priestman; which include Design Week, The Housewares Show, the international Red Dot award, and the Design and Decoration award. The innovative packaging designs by Turner Duckworth have won the internationally recognised ‘Clio’ and ‘D&AD’ awards.
Design Week – Boa Housewares won the Consumer Product Design Award for the Curve Clam and also for the product range.
WINNER:  Part of a range of kitchen products designed by Priestman Goode for Boa Housewares, the Clam Knife Block had to have a real point of difference to compete with existing products on the market. The understated style follows the idea of simplicity and efficiency, but the design is also highly functional. This is best demonstrated by the concern with cleaning the block, which is made from two pieces that can be separated. The two parts are held together by rare earth magnets, creating a strong, dynamic form to hold the knives in place, but are easily pulled apart.

Boa Housewares - Excellence in Housewares Awards

The Excellence in Housewares Awards, held each October, have become the biggest event in the Housewares social calendar.
Held in London, the Awards recognise excellence in both Housewares retailing and Housewares product excellence.

The Red Dot and D&D Design Awards

The "red dot" award for high design quality, expressing innovation in form and function in a very exemplary manner.
The red dot award is one of the most prestigious international design competitions.  Since 1955, expert juries have made awards annually in the competition for outstanding design achievements which set new standards in the relevant categories.  The red dot has thus become one of the most highly prized and globally recognised seals of quality.

Design & Decoration Award Winner                                                                  An international award featuring the best in international design and interior decoration representing the newest and hottest trends globally.

Design Week and Clio Awards for the Canpull and Boa Housewares packaging
The Clio Awards were founded in 1959 to celebrate creative excellence in advertising.  Clio is one of the largest international advertising awards programmes with nearly 17,000 entries from more than 65 countries.  Clio's mission is to recognise creative excellence in global advertising and design. Boa Housewares were awarded a Bronze Clio award for the packaging design and logo of the Boa Canpull.
Turner Duckworth designed these eye-catching transparent packs for Boa Housewares' Canpull, which aims to make it easier for those with limited dexterity to open ring-pull cans. The brightly coloured devices, created by Priestman Goode, are set against a visual representation of a can, explaining in one diagram how the Canpull is opened.
